The Community Health Center Fund (CHCF), National Health Service Corps (NHSC) and Teaching Health Center Graduate Medicaid Education (THCGME) programs are foundational for the country’s safety net, collectively building and maintaining a clinical workforce where it is most needed, particularly in rural areas where help ensure about 34 million Americans can access high-quality care, Advocates for Community Health (ACH), the American Association of Teaching Health Centers (AATHC), and the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved (ACU) say in a Nov. 4 letter to congressional leadership.
