ACH submitted testimony to the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee emphasizing that the 340B program is essential to community health centers and the underserved patients they serve. ACH urged Congress to address manufacturer contract pharmacy restrictions, discriminatory insurer and PBM practices, and state Medicaid carve-outs that reduce health center savings. The testimony also highlighted ACH’s voluntary 340C reform proposal, which pairs stronger transparency and accountability requirements with protections for health centers, and expressed support for the 340B PATIENTS Act while opposing the 340B ACCESS Act in its current form.
