Washington, D.C., March 11, 2026 – Advocates for Community Health (ACH) and Peninsula Community Health Services (PCHS) are pleased to announce that Brynn Felix, Chief Corporate Affairs and Legal Officer, has been recognized as a 2026 Advocate of the Year. This award highlights individuals whose leadership and advocacy have made a meaningful impact on community health nationwide.

Brynn is one of two honorees selected this year for her exemplary contributions both at PCHS and within the broader federal Health Center Program. Since joining PCHS in 2020 as General Counsel, after previously serving on the organization’s Board of Directors, she has led the organization’s corporate affairs and legal strategy with a focus on operational excellence and policy advocacy. Under her guidance, PCHS has strengthened its programs and expanded access to high-quality care for thousands of patients throughout Kitsap, Mason, and rural Pierce Counties and across Washington state.

Over the past year, Brynn has spearheaded strategic initiatives for ACH including co-leading a presentation at ACH’s inaugural Best Practices Showcase, chairing the Membership Committee, and actively contributing to ACH’s Emerging Issues Subcommittee and Emerging Technology Learning Collaborative. Her leadership has bolstered advocacy efforts and helped amplify the voices of health centers at the national level, ensuring policies better reflect the needs of patients and communities.

“Brynn is a tireless advocate for both patients and community health centers,” said Amanda Pears Kelly, CEO of Advocates for Community Health. “Her strategic insight and dedication ensure that health centers have a strong voice in shaping policies that directly impact the people they serve. We are so grateful she shares her expertise with us at ACH.”

“Brynn’s commitment to advocacy and her leadership within PCHS and our patients in Kitsap, Mason and rural Pierce Counties and beyond, are truly inspiring,” said Jennifer Kreidler-Moss, CEO of Peninsula Community Health Services. “Her work not only strengthens our organization but also promotes policies that enhance health outcomes for communities throughout the region.”

ACH and PCHS congratulate Brynn Felix on this well-earned recognition and celebrate her ongoing dedication to elevating the health and lives of the communities she serves.
