ACH submitted recommendations to Senate Finance Committee leaders on improving Medicare physician payment and chronic care. ACH urged support for health centers transitioning to value-based care, including a temporary 10% Medicare payment increase for infrastructure investments; flexible per-beneficiary, per-month payments to address health-related social needs and expand care teams; health equity-based risk adjustments; reduced cost-sharing barriers for chronic and behavioral health care; and full inclusion of FQHCs in future Medicare payment reforms.
