ACH urged Congress to act before the end of the 118th Congress to protect access to care in underserved communities. The organization called for two years of Community Health Center Fund funding at $5.8 billion annually, at least $50 million in disaster relief for health centers affected by recent natural disasters, two years of National Health Service Corps funding at $950 million annually, and five years of Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education funding at $300 million annually. These investments would help stabilize health centers, address critical workforce shortages and ensure millions of patients can continue receiving high-quality, cost-effective primary care.
