Stephanie Krenrich, senior vice president of policy and government affairs for Advocates for Community Health, which represents large CHCs in 22 states, plus Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico, said the shutdown reopening bill’s funding provides “important continuity of operations for the millions of patients who rely on them.”

“At the same time, these short-term patches significantly add to future financial uncertainty for health centers across the country,” Krenrich said. “We are eager to work with Congress and the administration on a long-term, sustainable funding solution that ensures health centers can continue to serve their communities without disruption and plan confidently for the future.”
