From its earliest days, the health center movement has been championed by leaders across the political spectrum who share a commitment to access and community-driven care. This site elevates that legacy and spotlights the partnerships shaping its future.

For more than 60 years, health centers have stood as one of the country’s most successful bipartisan investments, delivering high-quality care without regard to income, insurance status or zip code. With CHC Changemakers, we highlight the federal lawmakers, advocates, and voices who have advanced this mission and strengthened the nation’s primary care foundation.
