Dear ACH Members,

I know many might be questioning what this election means for health centers, wondering if the outcome changes the focus of our work towards securing health center funding, realizing 340B reform, advocating for workforce needs, ensuring financial sustainability for health centers, and more. ACH has prepared for this outcome and stands ready to fight for what health centers need, both during the end of 2024 and in the years ahead. We have already been working with the anticipated health policy leaders of a Trump Administration and have shared with them our plan for community health centers. We plan to share this with you on Friday in our post-election email which will continue through the month of November as we learn more.

As the leading organization advocating for bold health policy for the Health Center Program, our mission remains clear: we will continue to meaningfully impact federal public policy to advance the delivery of health care to underserved populations and cultivate new opportunities to achieve health equity. ACH is committed to standing with health centers to ensure that patients have what they need, especially during challenging times.

Rooted in community health since our beginning in 2021, ACH’s commitment to health equity has always been about people. We’ll continue to work with policymakers on both sides of the aisle who share our mission of positioning health centers to lead the way in modeling comprehensive, integrated primary care and cutting-edge innovation to help shape a rapidly evolving health care landscape. Our work is more vital than ever as rising healthcare costs and systemic inequities remain central issues, with disparities in health outcomes linked to socioeconomic factors.

Our work together is also more important than ever. We are united in our mission, and with your support, we’ll keep moving forward, creating a future where everyone has equal access to health care.
