ACH’s statement was included in Inside Health Policy’s article today on HRSA’s letter to J&J on their proposed 340 drug rebate program:
“The drug company notified its customers of the shift last month and insists the policy is fully compliant with statutory requirements and may help ensure safety net hospitals are better able to meet the goals of the 340B program without gaming the system.
340B hospitals and community health centers applauded HRSA’s additional actions aimed at reeling in J&J’s new policy. Advocates for Community Health (ACH), which represents the country’s largest health centers, says implementation of the rebate policy would negatively affect other covered entities beyond DSHs.”
